On A Mission

When a mission trip opportunity comes up I think a lot us might think

“Oh I’m going somewhere! I need something to give away, or say!”

So we go to God in search of what needs to be said. That way we don’t show up in another country empty handed. Don’t get me wrong, we need to go to God for things. Jesus never did anything unless He saw His Father say or do.

What I’m getting at is this: Why do we wait to ask God what people need to hear, only when there is an event happening?

In reality, we are on a mission trip every day, minute and second. We get stuck in the idea that we have to go somewhere, be invited. Let me pop your bubble. Jesus has already invited you to go….that mean you can go….anywhere.

Every day we are given a mission, something to accomplish. Our time on earth is strategic, every step, thought and word has the power to impact the world for Jesus.

This is something I am walking out right now. God wants to use us all the time. Not once a year in the summer, but in every season.

This summer I am on a mission…to be on a mission…and it’s not impossible.
